Sometimes you want to make course backups manually.
This is how you do it:
First go into the course you want to backup
So if you want to keep all the student info and grades, you need to make sure that the items are selected as follow on the backup screen:
If you just want to make a clone of the course without the users and grades (takes up less space), then you can unselect the user tickbox. You will notice certain sections grey out:
You can go through the next steps or you can just click jump to final step:
When you come to the final step you just click continue:
Now you can download the backup as a zip file or you can restore it as a new course:
